Best Use of Absentee/Messenger/Provisional Ballots to win a race:
Atlantic County NJ Freeholder Race:
In the race for Atlantic County Freeholder :
At-Large, Republican incumbent Frank Finnerty holds a 43-vote lead over Democrat Frank Giordano, 29,615-29,572. Finnerty had led by just 20 on election night. There are about 3,000 absentee ballots still to be counted in this race. (11/09/06)
It appears that Democrat Frank Giordano has unseated GOP incumbent Frank Finnerty by 202 votes in the race for Atlantic County Freeholder-At-Large. Finnerty won the machine vote, but the election turned on messenger and absentee ballots. Provisional ballots are set to be counted beginning at noon today. (11/10/06)
